FAQ
What is WiSP?
Wisp is a portable device and app designed to enhance safety and confidence in social settings. It leverages validated lab technology to provide real-time drink safety detection, helping identify potential drink spiking on the spot. The app also includes Check-In & Out, SOS alerts, and friend connectivity—ensuring you stay connected and secure while out. While Wisp’s first focus is on drink safety, its technology has the potential to expand to detecting allergens and other risks in the future.
How does WiSP work?
WiSP uses advanced optical technology called Raman Spectroscopy, infused with additional technologies, to analyze drinks for harmful substances. Results are displayed on the device console by LED, and synced to the app for additional features like notifications and event safety coordination.
